When I saw how fantasy lovers and readers come together to celebrate, I was in awe. In a world that has never felt more divided and lonely, I wanted to create moments where people could truly connect. I envisioned a place where you can celebrate, step into any character you choose, and feel like a prince, a princess, a knight, a fae, or anything else your heart desires. A space where readers can discover authors they might not have encountered before, stumble upon hidden treasures, and find unique, handcrafted decorations to bring magic into their homes. In November 2025, I began asking myself how and where I could bring this to life in Belgium. I started sharing the idea with those closest to me, and to my relief, no one thought I was crazy for wanting to try. As the project took shape, I began to dream bigger and bolder. That was when my sister stepped in as my anchor, keeping me grounded and focused. While my mind was already racing toward future years, she kept my eyes on the present. Without her, I would likely still be stuck in the dreaming phase instead of where I am today. The more I dared to talk about the event, the more my circle of friends and colleagues proved I wasn't alone. So many have offered ideas, guidance, and helping hands I never expected to receive. My hope is that this grows into a loving, welcoming community with many years and different types of events ahead. A place where reading isn't judged, but celebrated. Where buying ten books at once is completely normal, listening to audiobooks is fully embraced, and everyone can find their place and feel the warmth of community.
